I was looking at scores online at yahoo sports and was looking at NBA scores and i was just gonna look at the WNBA section just to see any updates there were and realized that there was no WNBA section at all. there was womens college basketball, but no WNBA. Then ass you look further and further it was at the bottom of the more section, bot even a main option to the mens sports displayed such as NFL and NBA. Why? Why is it that women sports are put to the side. People such as myself sometimes forget about womens basketball and pay attention to mens. I think that the media is not helping with that situation. By not displaying womens sports online and in magazines as big as men sports or even in there at all influences what we see and what we remember. I was looking at all the pictures on the main page of the sports section of yahoo and it did not display any highlight nor pictures of any women sports period which can cause us to easily forget about them also. It is like the saying "out of sight out of mind". Its hard for women's sports to get the audiences and respect like the men's sports it they cant even get the exposure as the men's sports. We watch tv and all we see is mens basketball and football. When we think of march madness many people just think of men's basketball, but women's basketball id just as proactive. So what is the reasoning behind not giving womens sports even the display and same exposure as the men's sports?
